Now in this post, I will be covering various adsense tricks which can help you earn more money, get more clicks, get better CTR and eCPM and various other aspects of adsense.
I am writing this article since the current articles which are showing on top of google are very outdated, written in 2006 and 2007 and talking about things like “put arrows” to get more clicks which will in 2009 surely get your adsense account banned. Adsense Tips and Trick to get more Clicks
If you want more clicks, check my optimization post as I have covered most of the points there and I don’t want to write the same content over and over. There are people from both schools which says blending or not blending your ads will get higher click, I feels not blending your ads will get you more click, specially if your visitors are coming from search engines. If most of your visitors are returning, you better blend ads as they are anyway ad blind. You should look to use ads in “F” format and should put the ads above the fold like I have done. Big adsense block of 336×280 is often considered to be best paying block.
Adsense Trick to get high value ads on site
Keep the ad blocks in right order – highest paying ads are shown to the first block which is read in the source code from top to bottom, so you want to make sure your first ad block get the maximum clicks. that is why its is often advisable to not use button ads or some other skyscraper ad block on left ssidebar as it may get less clicks.
What if people are ad blind
use Image ads – if on your blog/site there are people who are ad blind or you think they are not clicking adsense, start using images ads, most of them are CPM based which means you get money when ads are shown, not when they get clicked.
Also keep rotating position of ads, ad color and ad types. It is also not a bad idea to keep changing your theme elements too like make changes in sidebar, make changes in header etc.
